Hello!
Here, today I will give a short tutorial to put kali linux on a flash drive/CD for pen testing and learning quickly and easily.
Advantages of Kali Linux: disadvantages of Kali Linux :-
Not very good for things other than hacking/pen testing (
Very slow to run, so live USB is the best way to run Kali)-
To sudo or Root (
Special editing is required for programs like Tor that require non-root users to run)Step 1-
First of all, you want to know the number of bits your computer is running, such as 32-bit or 64-bit.
If you download the wrong file, it can not only limit the full potential, but it may also destroy the installation.
After you figure out where you are, go to the URL: Download your respective ISO.
Torrent is much faster than downloading directly, so use the \"Torrent\" download option if you have a Torrent client.
PS: the \"light\" option is faster to download, and it is better to ship the Guild on the old or slower system because some programs are not included. Step 2-
Download the program called UNetBootin.
Go to the URL: Download the respective programs of your operating system.
This program will write the ISO file you downloaded at the last step to a USB drive or CD.
Install the program and go to the next step. Step 3-
Windows: open unetboot in after inserting the drive to install Kali.
Select the \"ISO\" option and select.
Download the ISO file in the folder.
Select the USB drive or CD option in the drop-down menu, then select the drive to install it, and press OK \".
The process takes a bit of time, but then your drive is ready!
Mac: I \'ve never used a Mac OS, so how about this if anyone thinks
This is great for me.
Linux: If you are already using Linux, insert the drive and go to the terminal emulator and type \"unetboot in \".
This will open a GUI program.
Before doing anything else, please visit the disk viewer utility for your release.
On the Debian-based distribution, it is named \"disk \". \" (
If you don\'t have such a utility for your release, use a program called Gparted)
Look for your USB drive or CD.
Click on it and it should say something like something close to \"dev/sda.
In unetboot In, click ISO and select the downloaded ISO file from earlier.
Select a USB drive or CD, the drop-down menu will show your drive and select \"dev/sda\" from the previous Disk Utility \".
Then press OK, which takes a while, but once it\'s done, press exit and you can start the next step. Step 4-
Turn off your computer and start-
Up, enter the BIOS settings.
This will be the F2 or F11 buttons on some computers.
Go to your boot order and place the drive at 1 on the boot order.
Save and close from BIOS settings, Kali Linux should start!
I\'m sorry it doesn\'t have a picture, but I\'m running a new release, so I\'m not used to mixing up with things like Gyazo.
