Custom Seamless Activewear Manufacturing Process

01. Share Your Design & Product Requirements

Start your seamless activewear project with the information you already have. Established brands can send a complete tech pack, technical drawings, reference samples, artwork files, or existing product photos. If your concept is still at the development stage, our team can also help translate your ideas into a manufacturable seamless garment. We review the intended activity, target consumer, fit, support level, construction, color direction, branding and expected order volume before development begins. For yoga, training, running and athleisure collections, we can recommend suitable seamless constructions and performance requirements. This early alignment helps reduce unnecessary sample revisions and gives your product development team a clear manufacturing route from concept to production.

02. Develop the Right Yarn, Fabric & Seamless Construction

Material selection is critical for seamless activewear because yarn composition, stretch recovery, knitting structure and fabric weight directly affect fit, comfort and durability. Based on your product positioning, we can recommend options such as nylon/spandex, recycled nylon/spandex, polyester/spandex, recycled polyester and other performance-oriented materials. We can also evaluate softness, four-way stretch, moisture management, opacity, compression, recovery and hand feel according to the intended use. Custom details can include rib structures, mesh ventilation zones, textured knitting and different support levels. For brands developing sustainable collections, recycled and other preferred-material options can also be evaluated. The objective is not simply to choose a fabric, but to match the material and seamless construction with your brand’s performance and commercial requirements.

03. Create Samples & Validate Fit

After the design, materials and specifications are confirmed, INGOR develops a prototype sample for evaluation. For seamless products, sampling is more than checking appearance: the sample needs to demonstrate the relationship between stretch, body mapping, compression, coverage and recovery. Your team can review key points such as waistband stability, bust support, body fit, length, opacity, knitting texture, logo placement and overall comfort. Feedback is documented and incorporated into subsequent revisions where required. This approval stage gives established brands greater control over product consistency before bulk production. Only after the fit, materials, colors, branding and construction details meet the agreed specifications should the style move into bulk manufacturing.

04. Finalize Branding, Packaging & Production Specifications

Once the product sample is approved, we lock the commercial and technical details required for bulk production. This includes confirmed measurements, size grading, color standards, yarn or fabric specifications, labels, care labels, hangtags, logo applications, packaging and carton requirements. Branding options may include heat transfer, screen printing, embroidery, foil, laser-cut details and other suitable applications depending on the garment construction. For mature activewear brands, this stage is especially important because every approved detail becomes part of the production reference. A clearly documented specification helps reduce communication gaps between product development, merchandising, production and quality-control teams and supports more consistent results across repeat orders and future colorways.

05. Controlled Bulk Production & In-Process Quality Control

After final approval and production confirmation, INGOR moves the style into bulk manufacturing according to the approved specifications. Production is monitored throughout the manufacturing process rather than relying only on a final inspection. Key quality points can include material consistency, color accuracy, knitting structure, garment measurements, stretch and recovery, logo placement, workmanship and overall appearance. Our production and QC teams work together to identify deviations early and prevent avoidable issues from reaching the finished-goods stage. This approach is particularly important for seamless activewear because small differences in knitting tension, sizing or recovery can influence the final fit. For larger brand programs, controlled production helps maintain consistency across multiple sizes, colorways and repeat purchase orders.

06. Final Inspection, Packing & Global Delivery

Before shipment, finished seamless activewear goes through final quality inspection against the approved sample and production specifications. The inspection focuses on appearance, measurements, workmanship, branding, packaging and other agreed quality requirements. Once the order passes the required checks, products are folded, packed and prepared for international shipment according to your packaging instructions. INGOR supports OEM, ODM and private-label activewear programs, allowing brands to coordinate product development, customization, production, quality control and delivery through one manufacturing partner. After shipment, we also welcome structured feedback from your product or sourcing team. This creates a continuous improvement loop for future collections, repeat orders and new seamless activewear developments.
