It is expected that a pink ocean will usher on Sunday afternoon, and it is expected that some 2000 participants will participate in the 5 km-meter long-distance race of Launceston women.The popular annual event starts and ends at the City Park and will send runners and walkers to weave their own roads on the streets of Launceston to improve health issues for women like breast cancer"This is to go out, and on the day close to 2000, to be active and happy with other women, for the same reason," explained organizer Rob Gillard .".A large number of additional recreational activities are being carried out, including cooperationordinated pre-race warm-Demonstrated by PYCSAM, with dance coordination and motivational help from Taeko drummers.
There are already 1600 entries and organizers are preparing for another wellEvents supported.Bib pick-Ups is at 41 degrees Arthur Street from ten o'clock A.M. to four o'clock P.M. today and tomorrow, and Sunday morning at City Park.
There will be no entries on the same day.
