HONOLULU - (May 31, 2011) -- Eight weeks remain before 100 associated with surf collectibles go under the hammer at the Hawaiian Islands Vintage Surf Auction, presented by Quiksilver Waterman Collection. Also a California speed board made by Pat Curren found in actor Steve McQueen's Santa Paula aircraft hanger among his collection of cars and motorbikes. Pre-auction estimate $10,000-20,000. The lost and found. North Shore big wave rider Barry Kanaiaupuni's personal 16-inch wide, racy pintail pocket rocket that's found among collectibles at the Hard Rock Cafe in Honolulu after being 'lost' for one fourth of a hundred years.
