An employee of FedEx was charged Friday with helping rob a colleague.Authorities say he was a worker when delivering goods in Pleasanton.The victim, Francisco Matte, a FedEx driver from San Rafael, got off at about 10: 45 a.m. to pick up the package in block 4300 Manor Avenue.m.Police said Wednesday, when he was struck up by four men wearing masks and jerseys with hats.The Pleasanton Police Department said one of the men pulled out a shotgun and ordered Matute to open the door to the cargo area at the back of his federal courier box truckMark Senkle.Senkle said the robbers then unloaded many boxes from the truck and fled the scene in a golden Buick sedan.Police said computers were included in the items taken away.Matute was not injured.The initial search of the area did not find the robbers, but one of the suspects, Dominique Hamilton, 20, was about 5: 50, union City is in custody at the FedEx facility on 1400 Commercial Center Avenue, San Leandrom.Senkle said he was sent on Wednesday to the same Buick used in the robbery.A sawed-Senkle said that a shotgun was found in the car that was considered to be the same weapon used in the robbery.Police said Hamilton Fennoy had been in FedEx for less than two years.He was arrested on suspicion of robbery and possession of dangerous weapons and was held at Santa Rita prison in Dublin in lieu of a $250,000 bail.Investigators are trying to identify and arrest other suspects, Senkle said.
